Appearance:

Soluble in hot light mineral oil, ethane, chloroform, petroleum ether and hot isopropyl alcohol, almost insoluble in water.
Features:
Hydrogenated vegetable oil is a triglyceride consisting mainly of stearic acid and palmanic acid prepared by refining, bleaching, hydrogenated decolorization and deodorization of oils from plant sources, as well as oils from fish and other animals, and by spray drying.
