Appearance:
White or almost white, very fine, light powder.
It is almost insoluble in water and anhydrous ethanol, but soluble in turpentine, fixed oil and mineral oil.

Features: Aluminium Stearate is a mixture of solid organic acid aluminum salts, primarily composed of Aluminium Stearate and Aluminium Palmitate in varying proportions. It may also contain Aluminium Monostearate, Aluminium Distearate, and Aluminium Tristearate.

Incompatibility: This product will decompose when heated in the presence of inorganic acids or strong organic acids and will undergo hydrolysis in the presence of alkali. It should not come into contact with corrosive gases.
