This product is a mixture of cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol. The content of stearyl alcohol shall not be less than 40.0%, and the sum of the contents of cetyl alcohol and stearyl alcohol shall not be less than 90.0%.

Appearance: White granule, flakes or blocks.

Easily soluble in ethanol and ether and almost insoluble in water.

Quality Standard: CP2020; USP43-NF38; EP10.0

Application:

As a lubricant and base in ointments, creams, and pastes.

The product can increase the stability and consistency of the emulsions, and has co-emulsification, so it can reduce the amount of surfactants.

Incompatibility: Contraindicated with strong oxidants and metal salts.

Safety: Non-toxic, non-irritating to the skin and mucous membranes, and is generally considered safe.
