Packaging: 1kg/bag; 5kg/bag/carton; 1kg/bag*5bags/carton; 1kg/bag*20bags/drum
Appearance:
A white, yellowish or slightly pinkish, crystalline powder, practically insoluble in water, very soluble in methylene chloride, freely soluble in alcohol.
Quality Standard: CP2020; USP43-NF38; EP10.0, JP.
Application:
Butylated Hydroxytoluene is a commonly used antioxidant. The principle of action is to block the chain reaction of drug oxidation by absorbing the active oxygen generated in the oxidation reaction of the drug, so as to achieve the anti-oxidation effect.
Therefore, this product is most suitable for fat-soluble drugs, or they have anti-oxidation effects in fat-soluble systems, but have weaker anti-oxidation effects on aqueous systems and metal ions.
Advantage:
Excellent antioxidant effect
Loose powder is more convenient to use
Higher purity, pure color
Single miscellaneous miscellaneous solvent residue is lower
Incompatibility:
This product belongs to phenol and has phenol-like reaction characteristics. Incompatibility with strong oxidants such as peroxide and potassium permanganate, can cause spontaneous combustion. It will change color and lose activity with iron salt, and it will rapidly decompose with acid.
Safety: The dosage as antioxidant is generally considered safe. Exceeding its dosage may cause skin damage, such as adverse reactions, allergic and irritant.
Storage:
This product will change color and inactivate when exposed to light, humidity and heat, and may cause explosion if placed in a high-temperature environment in a closed container.
Stored in a sealed, cool, dry and dark place.
