Application:
*As flavoring agents, pH regulators, effervescent agents, chelating agents and antioxidant synergists.
*It is acidic and can be used to adjust the pH of the drug. It can replace citric acid in effervescent tablets.
*It can increase antioxidant effect and delay drug oxidation when it is compatible with BHT.
*As intermediate of API.
